FireProtection 2025.1 – New ISO 14520 and VdS 3877 standards
An update of FireProtection has been released.
This new version will be proposed to you automatically the next time you start the software if an internet connection is available. It includes the following improvements :
- Integration of ISO 14520:2023
- Integration of VdS 3877:2023-08 with support of CO2
- Translation corrections for the German version of the software
- Various minor corrections in the English and German reports
- Ergonomic and visual improvements

Remarks regarding VdS 3877
The use of this standard requires additional parameters:
- “Lowest outside temperature” and “Highest outside temperature” under hold time conditions to compute the hold time. These parameters will be shown in the in the “Home” section under “Tested room” and are used to compute the temperature difference induced by the agent release.
- “outside temperatures” during measurement. These values can be recorded under Measurement > Configuration by clicking the “Add a temperature” point button and are used to compute the average outside temperature which is displayed under the values table.
